Special interests: My special interest is Diabetic foot disease. This condition is a major cause of leg amputation which can usually be avoided if a dedicated multidisciplinary team manages the condition. I and the Podiatry and Clinic Nursing staff as well as my Vascular and Orthopaedic colleagues run clinics 5 days a week and see 150 patients a week with foot ulcers and some patients with difficult to heal leg ulcers
