Hampers to help bring Christmas cheer to hospital staff
More than 250 hampers are being delivered to staff working across hospitals on Christmas Day.
It’s a small festive thank you to hardworking staff at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, with the hampers being handed out across the hospital sites, including Broomfield, Southend, Basildon, Braintree Community Hospital and Brentwood Community Hospital.
The hampers have been made possible by Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity. Its director, Lucy Thomas-Clayton, said: “All the hampers have been packed with goodies and treats to help deliver some Christmas joy to those looking after patients on Christmas Day and over the festive period. We know our staff do some amazing work and we just wanted to give them this small token of thanks.”
