Help decide which Essex hospital staff ‘Shine’ at brand new awards
Nominations are now open for a new staff awards, celebrating the achievements of staff at the Trust that runs Basildon, Southend and Broomfield hospitals.
After a year like no other, staff, patients, carers and members of the public are being asked to help nominate teams and individuals, who have provided outstanding care and exceptional levels of service over the last 12 months.
Those shortlisted will be part of the Shine Awards, the first ever staff awards ceremony for Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, which is now one of the largest hospital trusts in the country.
There are seven categories in total, including a team and individual award for outstanding achievement award, leadership award, rising star award, partnership award, making a difference award and spotlight award. The deadline for making a nomination is Saturday 31 July.
Clare Panniker, the Trust’s chief executive, said: “After such a challenging year, it’s so nice to be able to look ahead at being able to celebrate our staff, from across all areas and sites across the Trust.
“These brand new awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the extraordinary work of our front line and behind the scenes staff, their extraordinary dedication, and the real life-changing difference they make for the people who use our services.”
